Once the
bridal season began to slow down, I decided it was time to work on my
portfolio. I wanted to create some new looks to add, so I organized a small
photoshoot.
My aim was
to add a couple of ethnic brides to my website, since I have a so few displayed. As a makeup artist, it’s important to
showcase all different types of makeup styles since people are unique and have
different skin tones and taste.
I went for
one bold, bright lip color, and a softer look with cheek glow. I find that “the glow” look is very popular
and it works well on women who have normal to combination skin. Glowing, healthy looking skin is important to
most women, whether a bride or not!
